A Chance To Freedom
Funding the Education of Homeless Children, Teenagers & Young Adults in the South of India.
Our long-term goal ? Educate
1'000 students !
OUR PROCESS IN 5 STEPS...
TEENS LEAVE THE ORPHANAGES
WE IDENTIFY THEM
WE SEND THEM TO
(or to the SUEB Community College)
WE MONITOR THEIR
THEY SUCCEED &
When teenagers become 18 y/o they have to leave the orphanages because of space scarcity & the law (as mandatory governmental primary education is completed)
We target the ones in need, talk to them and help them with the planning of their educational goals.
We send them to academic or professional schools to start the program of their choice and we cover all the costs.
We follow the students trough the years & support them with all basic needs until they graduate.
The students are finally ready to find a job and be intellectually & financially independent.
A Swiss non-profit association addressing an unmet need: funding the education of the next young Indian generation in Tamil Nadu helping them getting out of the streets and achieve financial independence. This way, we fight against the cycle of poverty.
We mainly help orphan children and women to study in order to give a sense of direction to their lives and taking them away from the dangers of a homeless and vulnerable life.
We aim at making education a possibility for the young Indian generation.
We currently help 68 students and our long-term goal is to educate a total of 1'000 !
